YES ,since 1975 in VN they cook with đậu hủ chiên and eat with rau muống chần qua nước sôi,they call it is "canh bún " not bún riêu.I learned how to cook this from friend left VN 1989 ,it is ok to eat a little different ,bút almost like bún riêu.
