school, essay
Ok, so for my English assignment over the summer I had to write a speech about my work experience (a week spent in the hands of a few mad solicitors in July '06). Of course, like all students, I've been putting it off until now, and this morning I realised that with less than 1 week summer holiday left I need to get it written, I still have to learn it by heart after that, and I have a notably bad memory!
That's fine, I have plenty of ideas, (namely about the mind numbing boredome of watching paint peel off office windows!)but I know that everything I write is gonna sound completely stupid coming aout of my own mouth. I don't know if that's just my style of writing, or how it is for all authors?
Perhaps later I'll try to write this more coherently, but I need to get on with the speach. I just wondered if anyone had any advice?

Shopping, Broadband, essay, pink
Yeah, I suppose the title says it all, I mean, it only took like two years for us (a conbination of us three kids and an ultra-technical uncle)to convince the parent-types to get it! Now the computer is like, one billion times faster.... well that may be a slight exaggeration. But it is a lot faster.
Excuse any bad typing; I've hurt my finger. The nail went funny, and now I have one really short nail and very sore finger. To make matters worse, I painted my nails last night in a metallic blue colour, so the defected nail stands out even more! It hurt when I tried to play my violin, and a little when I played the keyboard.
I just realised I haven't posted a blog in ages, I guess I just don't do anyting interesting. Well, not interesting enough to put in a blog anyway. For me a normal day is so mundane that you'd fall asleep reading it.
Went into Bimingham again today though. That was pretty cool. Went with Yan and Dani (yeah I think she's beginning to find her way around town now- lol we've only been there once a week this month, not many times!) I felt like I kinda dragged them round the shops, but then I always do that and I always feel bad so it's nothing new.
I got a very cute flourescent pink pyramid belt and stripy t-shirt! Dani and my mum have decided that I am going through a pink phase, which is surprising since a year ago I hated the colour! (meh- check out the pink font!) Pink and black look amazing together. They really do. Green works quite well with black. Lime green that is, not our sickly uniform green.

I gotta think of a subject for a humorous essay in english, taking the mickey out of something, or someone(!). Any ideas? My dad suggested I wrote about a disastrous wedding where everythign goes wrong. You know, the kind where the food doesn't go to the same place as the reception, the bride's dress is too small and the flowers haven't come into bloom. I think that would be quite funny. Yeah, I think I'll write about that.
