Rainy days

, ,

So I had a history exam first thing, had to be in school for 9am, then it finished at 10-45. After, I went down to the hair dressers to try and book an appointment, but they were closed.

I decided that I still had ten minutes left before the bus came, so I said I'd walk up to the further bus stop with my friend cause she was lonely, only I obviously can't count, cause I missed the bus. So, i had to get the next bus, which meant getting off in the middle of the village, and walking the 10 minute journey from there.

Of course, as soon as I got on the bus it absolutely tipped it down. And my umberella broke, one of the sticky things snapped and it was flapping everywhere so I gave up with it.

By the time I got home I was dripping wet, and my 'cool' shoes, which I'd only worn because the others broke, were completely drenched. My bag was soking wet (warning- don't use canvas bags on rainy days!) and I was worried I'd break my phone again- have a habit of it you see.

Just as I got to my front door my mum texted me saying "Hi, I'm in town, do you want a lift home?"

Ironic eh?

Unbelievably I was still in a great mood, and still am. Hyper and a little wierd, but great :D

My history exam went well though, better than I expected.

Now I have to revise, got three exams tomorrow, English Lit GCSE, Maths and Music. None of which are my best subjects.

I found time to blog! Go me :D

I never realised how tiring exams are. We get study leave but that time is spemt revising, perhaps because I did very little beforehand. Hmmm hindsight... Well, only one week and five exams left :D

So far I know that I completely messed up three subjects; History, Art and Physics. Hopefully though, these are redeemable. I have another History exam tomorrow, fingers crossed I will do better in this one (I have actually revised this time)and they'll take an average. On Thursday I have the second part of the art exam, in five hours I have to repaint practically the whole thing, just was not in an 'arty' mood last thursday. Physics always was ging to be a disaster, as was chemistry, but I don't think I did to badly, for me, in biology or chemistry. That should mean that I get an average score in science overall.

Yesterday me, Holly, Adele and Lyd went into town, guess who we saw there? A bunch of JCU people of course. And with them was Dani, even though she'd told me she wouldn't be allowed out all weekend. I was mad. Angry. Angry. Angry.

But of course I don't want to lose my best friend, so I didn't know what to say.

I thought about it the whole afternoon. And in the end I decided it would be easiest just to come out with it, we're supposed to be going on holiday together next week- I didn't want us to still be as distant. So, I texted her on the way back. I asked if she was avoiding me, and of course she said no. There was more, but the jist of it is she hadn't really realised how much she'd change. We've been talking today like normal, so hopefully...the holiday will rule!!!

It's all over

, ,

Yep. It's over. No more violin now for at least...oh, a week (until the next orchestra practise!)

I don't think it went to well :worried:

I mean, the pieces went alright, not brilliantly, but I got through it without any major mistakes. But then there were the aural tests, I haven't had my teacher for three weeks and before then she didn't go over them. So, I got into the aural part of the test and the examiner plays a piece of music a couple times and starts asking me all these wierd questions about the tempo and style of the music. I got all confuzzled and made myself look stupid. He then started asking about the period of the music (such as Baroque, classical or romantic). Now, I've done aural tests before but I have never been asked about when the music is based.

Overall I'm not to happy but at least it's over, don't get the results now for a couple weeks.

Thank you everyone for being so sweet!

I'm so scared. The exam is in less than twenty four hours! I've been practising all day; spent half of Music playing, all of lunch, had Orchestra after school and came home and played for another two hours. I have just enough energy left to write this and then I'm going to bed. Zzzzz.

Eeeek. At least if I do fail I know that I tried my best in the last few weeks before the exam. In less than a day it'll all be over and I can sit and watch the Olympics all night (and continue to ignore the pile of homework that keeps building).

I'll let you know tomorrow how it went.
