A reminder on how to edit your signature for Opera forums
You can create a "signature" or tag line that shows up underneath your forum posts. It can be helpful for trouble shooting to display some basic system information. Or any other information or wisdoms that you like.
How to edit the signature?
1) On your opera home page, just click on the tool icon all the way at the right
2) This opens your account page
3) Then select 'forum settings'

On the Forum Settings page:
4) Enter the information you want in the signature box and save
Use Bulletin Board Code (BBc) for your signature.
It is helpful for problem solving if you enter basic information about your system, such as your operating system, Opera version (don't forget to update when Opera updates) and hardware specifications and relevant software (such as anti-virus software).
It will then automatically be listed when you ask questions or provide answers.
Below is what the above code looks like on the forum posts, after making a small change.
The signature allows for only so many characters.
My reminder: please be kind, it's your signature!
Enjoy!
