1. For a time, Viet Nam was a country as closed to the outside world as North Korea is now, Viet Nam had got bogged down in the economic and social crisis for almost 15 years. However, only after 2 years of implementing the 10th Resolution on Agriculture Contract did we have enough foods and after 20 years of Renewal has we become a country much richer than North Korea.
2. The Vietnamese people ended the war resistance against French colonists by the world-shaking, landslide Dien Bien Phu victory, greater and more glorios than any before. That victory also ended the French military presence in Vietnam while opening a new chapter in our country, the chapter in which North Vietnam went straight to socialism without going through the stage of capitalism development.
3. Being people as intelligent, creative as many students of other countries but in general, Vietnamese students have bad practical skills because laboratories or workshops and physical facilities for practice in educational institutions are very limited.
4. Being capital much smaller than those of other countries, Hanoi is very densely populated and overpopulated. So people often see traffic jams and other social evils.
5. We are students capable, dynamic, creative, risk-taking( enterprising), and responsible. However, for many different reasons, we have not yet enjoyed the complete trusts of the Party and People by being entrusted with many different tasks by the Party, Government and the people. So many of us are not brave enough to take part in social activities yet.
6. We are Vietnamese women, heroic, indomitable, loyal, capable, dextrous and industies. However, we also want the party and government create more favourable conditions for us to take part in social activities and positions of power at different levels because now the number of positions of power for women is not as great as expected by us.
