An all-volunteer, non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c) (3) fundraising organization, the PSF seeks to increase the number and cost of its scholarships as a result of organizing public events which promote Polish culture, historical past, history and traditions #link#.
Lately, we have reached out to the surrounding Syracuse community and also to Poles throughout the state. The Polish Festival in Syracuse's Clinton Square is just about the largest cultural event in the history of the Polish community in Central New york #link#.
More than 1, 000, 000 people (Census 2010) within greater Syracuse Metropolitan Location, students from Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga and Oswego Counties are generally eligible to receive scholarships and grants. Our mission is always to provide financial assistance - scholarships to talented students of Polish descent just by organizing fundraising public events, which promote Polish traditions, heritage, history and traditions.
The Polish Scholarship Fund, Inc. announces that the deadline for submitting applications for this purpose year scholarships is March 15, 2008. Ten, 12 months, scholarships each valued at $1000. 00 will be awarded at its fifty-fourth annual Polish Festival to remain held at Syracuse's Clinton Square on June 20, twenty one and 22, 2008. The scholarship can be used at any accredited university, university, or trade higher education.
