We can tweak it somewhat gradually but we can't change the whole thing as quickly as people would like so for now the same rules should apply to everyone. I personally don't have much of a problem with our medical school system. The extra years sometimes helps to narrow down who really enters medicine for the right reasons and not just the glamour and may help them find what they truly love in the 4 undergraduate years. Although some of us may think countries in Europe and
personal grants all over the world have a better medical school training system, this system has been in place for decades and would take a similar amount of time to get rid of.
