Update on the Toyota!

Finally heard from the Insurance company!!!
Last week we were waiting to hear from the insurance company about whether or not they were going
to total out the 4Runner rather then repair it. Based on their time frame we should have had a decision
last Friday. Needless to say we heard nothing. We weren't notified until Wednesday of this week.

The insurance company was waiting for Toyota to confirm whether or not a part that was damaged could be repaired to Toyota specifications. If not then they would consider it a total loss. The part CAN BE repaired to factory specs., so we will be getting our 4Runner back and good as new!!! party party party party party

The Fur Kids I'm sure will be ecstatic when the 4Runner finally comes home. They have missed their daily rides. Especially Spirit. She was the most traumatized over this. She has been sticking to her daddy like glue. She won't even go out to potty unless he'll go out with her. It's as though she is afraid he'll disappear like the 4Runner has. (in her mind anyway!) We are hoping that when we get the
4Runner back she'll settle down and get back to herself.

Yay, Lucy. So glad it's working out for you. It will be OK with Spirit, also, I think. She's feeling insecure, probably, because of the changes. Animals like routine, and hers has been disturbed. Guess she isn't as adaptable as Flowbear.

Look for your vehicle when you see it! These people seem to take forever when they repair, but then, you don't want them rushing the job either.

Yeah, my brother's dogs are also missing their "tata" at the moment. His car broke down and it's going to take time and money to repair. awww.

Hey D smile I hope every one is getting better. I know how much dogs like things to stay the way they like things. Gus is already like that. Every morning he wakes up and lets us know it's time to get up. Then Paul gets out of bed and pets him, I pet him while Paul starts the coffee. Then Paul rolls a cigarette and when the coffee has brewed Paul pours us each a cup and they head out for their smoke...did I say "their smoke" yes I did! Because Gus has decided to be "just like dad" and so he sits on the porch next to Paul with a stick hanging out his mouth just like a cigarette. It is VERY funny!!!
The best part is when Paul thinks he can skip any of these steps in their routine. Gus will have nothing to do with that! He fusses at Paul until he does it all in correct order and that is that. LOL!

Our girls are the same way. They have a specific routine and the worse one of keeping you on task in that routine is Flow'Bear. She will not let you skip any steps. She will keep at you until you do it right. At least right in her opinion.LOL smileys

Moses still gets upset every time Kim and I leave the house. He did not forget the week I went to Michigan to get Kim and he was left behind. Maybe one day he will get over it. bigsmile

We got the "Fur Runner" back Friday evening. Maybe with it being home and her going for rides again she'll settle back down. We sure hope so!bigeyes

Well the fur kids have had a few rides in the fur runner now, and Spirit is still hard to live with. She got sight of the helium balloon the kids got me for Mother's day and went in to fraidy cat mode. It is so frustrating for us as we have tried everything we know to help calm her. We think she thought the balloon was an air bag. They are what have scared the hell out of her. Now she damn near pees herself when she hears loud noises or unknown objects are around. We feel so bad for her. She was really traumatized by the air bags going off.yikes cry

We are going to keep working with her. Patience and time hopefully will bring her out of this!up

Awww poor Spirit. Lots of love will help for sure.

Kim and I are doing good. We are rebuilding the web site.

I ticked off her doctor. She did not like me calling her in so many words a liar which she is.

She tole Kim that she was not convinced she was an epileptic and that it was all in her head so therefore she did not fax the authorization form to medicaid so Kim could get the proper med she needed, that did not make her sick all the time. furious

I don't like to be mean to women but in this case I could easily make an exception. A rope and a tree will work.
