We have already returned to Vancouver, to our monotonous life of long sun sets and romantic plays on the beach. I can't wait to get back to work. Ho wait, I already have!

This was my 1st experience with Shakespeare. Not being a native English speaker, it was sometimes difficult to understand the dialogs but it got better toward the end. I really appreciated the more modern version as well as the not-so-British accents of the actors (I find it a lot easier to understand people in Vancouver than in London
Note that a friend of us did not like the play so much because apparently (according to him) it deviates too much from the original script (modernised dialogs, modern costumes - jeans, runners... - modern message...) I guess it's up to everyone to make up their own mind.
Nevertheless, if you're in Vancouver this summer, I strongly encourage you to go watch any of these plays at Barn on the Beach. It's really worth it but do book early as most are already sold out!
