Leonardo da Vinci was treated with genuine affection by Francis I who called him "my father", his sister Marguerite and the entire Court. He found a really particular inspiration there, which he passed on to his disciples, while teaching them his tactics. He did his utmost to pass on his expertise to them until finally the end of his daily life.
A multidisciplinary genius, Leonardo da Vinci produced some extraordinary scientific discoveries and invented machines that were four centuries in advance.
