Wonderful hair----and it got better and better as he matured! Look at the excessively l-o-n-g neck. I know this was the fashion in portraits of the time, but, jeez!---with these proportions he would be about 9 feet tall.
There are more versions of this portrait, I assume by more than one artist. All have the giraffe neck though!
