(Unofficial) Galaxy Boxart = Done

I wanted to write this last night at about 2:00 AM, when I finish.ed it, but I decid.ed just to go to sleep.

On June 5th, I posted that I was working on a unofficial box-art for Super Mario Galaxy. After tons of GIMP crashes and errors, I actually got to work on it yesterday, and after a couple of hours, finish.ed it.

I've upload.ed several views of it, as well as a 'self-critique' of my work, all of which can be seen after the break.

games, graphics, me, boxart ...

Random post time.

Very few of you probably know this, but I have been into graphic design for quite a while. I think I'm almost sorta-kinda pretty a little good at it (ha), but I've never posted any of my stuff here.

Yesterday, I had an awesome idea. Why not design box-art(s) for unreleased games or spoof games? I looked it up, and of course there was an entire site dedicated to it, which I promptly joined. If you want to check it out, go to: http://www.vgboxart.com

Anyway, I've started my first cover, which is one for Super Mario Galaxy. It looks kicky sweet at the moment, but is still unfinish.ed. Check back for updates on this and other covers.

If anyone has a request for a cover, just let me know and I'll try to make one. This goes for any system, any game, but of course I prefer Nintendo.

Now, if anyone knows of a good Mario font....
