Why would anyone want to read about me?

Random Thoughts

As I was reading this Politico article, I started to get angry.

The mainstream media constantly attacks McCain for his age, something he has no control over. Does that mean I can attack Obama for something he has no control over: his race?

Absolutely not!

Let's try and see:

The reason Obama thought there were 57 states is that he's black and therefore stupid.

Obama's lie mistake about his uncle liberating Auschwitz is clearly a result of being black.

Obama thinks a president can serve for 10 years because he is black, and therefore of an inferior intelligence.

Imagine if the above statements were aired in the mainstream media everyday. Seem fair?

Maybe not... but McCain is an idiot.

Both candidates are. :D

I don't think McCain is an idiot! I think he's a good guy. Unfortunately, I cannot vote for him because I am pretty sure he will start a war with Iran. =( So, I will vote for Obama, even though I don't think he will accomplish much. I wanted to vote for Hillary!!! Stupid party affiliations messing everything up! My state (Michigan) didn't even get a say in the primaries. I used to be mad, but now I am just sad! ;v;

I think it would've been really bad for the US to have a female president, especially Hillary Clinton.

How could Americans lay their confidence in a woman who has been cheated on, yet remained with her husband? It shows signs of obvious weakness - that people can walk all over her, and get away with it.

Secondly, I don't think it would've been positive for International affairs. Many countries that America needs to make friends with / show they're more powerful than still regard women as inferior in their culture. I can't see leaders in said countries being willing to comply with orders or suggestions from a woman, who in their country, would be suppressed.

I see what you are saying. In normal circumstances, I agree that staying married after infidelity is a bad thing. However, I think she stayed with her husband for the sake of her country, politics, and her daughter. I think being able to stay in the lime light and continue a successful political career while being the butt of America’s jokes shows tremendous strength. Many women would be a basket case after such trauma. She handles criticism far better than Obama has shown he can during the primaries. He seems like the kind of person who wants everyone to like him and wants to become president for the sake of becoming president- not because he has revolutionary ideas about how to fix the country. I believe that Hillary is really cares about this country and has show and proven it over the years. I do not believe she would lead this country in a bad direction. Unfortunately, I do not feel the same way about either of the current candidates. On a side note: I saw interviews relating that many Middle-Easterners were rooting for Hillary during the primaries in the hopes of a return to (Bill) Clinton-style foreign policy.

Clearlyhere writes:

A person can be president for 10 years, but the circumstances have to be that they succeed someone else as president due to impeachment, death, incapacity, or the like. If they have served less than half the term of that president, they are allowed to be elected twice more for 8 years.

That adds up to a grand total of, at most, 10 years.
