Free admission to galleries from 9am to 7pm
Join Marco Polo – the heroic explorer who travelled throughout Asia – on a magical adventure through the museum galleries and meet interesting characters from the past. Learn stories about special objects, go on a gallery trail to explore hidden and beautiful treasures, and collect fun museum souvenirs. Watch out for colourful dance performances and creative craft workshops for kids. Don’t miss this fun-filled weekend for children and parents alike!
- Children's Season Peranakan Museum 16 – 17 June
Free admission to galleries from 9am to 7pm
Activities from 12 noon to 5pm
Enjoy a weekend festival filled with vibrant performances for children! Create exciting crafts for the whole family and be one of the first to explore the new special exhibition on Emily of Emerald Hill, a local Peranakan play. Look out for free goodie bags and a fun-filled experience at the Peranakan Museum.
- Sentosa Storytelling Comes Alive! Images of Singapore, Forecourt
1 – 24 June (Wednesdays – Sundays only) 11am to 7pm (3 sessions per day)
Free admission for storytelling sessions and selected activities.
"Storytelling Comes Alive!", an international award winning event, combines reading, listening, acting and watching a play as multisensory experience. The intimate setting creates no boundaries between the audience and the performers, and as the stories unfold by the storyteller, it will draw the audience a few steps closer into the world of imagination. Besides Storytelling sessions, there are lots of interactive fringe activities to entertain everyone. Come on down for a fun-filled adventure of giant story books where characters come alive!
