Lots of poker sites SELLING OUT, Neverwinpoker, Pocketfives, Tightpoker etc.

I guess I don't blame them but there's been lots of poker "portals" out there selling to bigger companies. Mostly forums are being sold....most notable neverwinpoker and pocketfives. They sold for like 200k and 900k respectively. Those numbers aren't confirmed but that's my guestimate from what I've heard. Also tightpoker sold last year...man I wonder how much that went for. My guess is they were bought by Pokerlistings.com because they are probably the only site that could afford them. Ranking for "party poker bonus code" is mega bucks.

The sites who've been purchasing are pokernews, pokerlistings, and pokersourceonline. Pokerlistings being the biggest but I can't seem them purchasing too much as of late. They've probably been taking a hit since they refuse to promote a lot of poker sites because they weren't paying them enough. I guess $300 per player isn't enough...

Full Tilt Poker Linux?

, , , ...

Long time no post...but I've been getting this question quite a lot lately. Can you play Full Tilt poker for Linux? Of course you can....but not natively. You've got to dual boot or use wine to play at Full Tilt and even then it's not all that stable. Most people have been using the absolutepoker.com no download software if they're on Linux and from the US.

I tried it and it worked fine...nothing to brag about and when I used it there was no sit and go play but I believe they might have added some tournaments....not too sure though.

Anyways, I've been working my ass off lately with the poker for US player page at Compatiblepoker. It's been a real major pain in the ass lately, since I like to keep it updated every day/hour. When new shit happens every hour I have to go in and modify things so much and as you can see the page has gotten huge. Loads of information which is why I guess it gets over 600,000 page views a month.
