With the popularity of online poker busting charts, the gaming community in UK and Ireland couldn’t have asked for more. The Poker Show that kicked off this weekend was the first of its kind as the poker playing public would be able to interact with Padraig Parkinson, Jesse May and several other special guests.
Sponsored by Boyle Poker.com, part of Europe’s largest poker network, iPoker, the poker community can access a wide range of tournaments round the clock. Players from the US are not allowed to participate. There are prize pools that are massive and players are provided the opportunity to qualify for poker’s prestigious live events.
The Poker Show, the legendary WSOP TV show, would be UK’s first online radio show.
Every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights from 8pm to 11pm, the widely experienced broadcast team would be bolstered by the presence of SKY TV presenter Mike Broughton in the all new online radio show at the www.thepokershowlive.com.
The poker playing public never had it so good. There would be a wide range of discussions and debates with special guests and commentators. As the fast developing world of online poker would be further enriched, there would be phone-in questions, contributions and commentaries from the poker playing public that has swelled in recent years.
In the first show that was broadcast on Sunday, April 26, Dan Harington had come in. Subsequent shows would see the likes of Donnacha O’Dea, Neil Channing and Kara Scott with the recent Irish Open, the European Poker Tour Monte Carlo grand final featuring as hot topics for discussion. The World Poker Tour championship event in Las Vegas would also be among them and there would be several surprises in store for the players.
Being a much looked forward to show, Phil Hellmuth, John Duthie and well known writer “Dr. Pauly” Maguire would also chip in for a tete-a-tete during the early weeks. Padraig Parkinson, the BoylePoker pro who co-hosted the original hugely popular Poker Show from Las Vegas earlier was delighted about the show’s comeback.
He was thrilled about the comeback as he felt there was still much unfinished business to be taken care of. Excited about the prospect of mixing up the old with the new, live with online and business with pleasure, he felt the chance of the players to interact with experts would have loads of hilarity and fun in store on show nights. Not only fun, there would be some real deciphering the immensely popular world of online poker.
Produced by Matchroom Sports with years of experience behind them, poker players are urged to get more involved. For contact details, visit thepokershowlive.com.
