It’s Gladiator Gambling Time at Party Poker

, , , ...

If you’re hoping to win your way to the lucrative Aussie Millions poker tournament next year, it might be a good idea to pop into Party Poker and check out the promotions that the site has running in November. Party Poker recently announced the return of the Gladiator promotion that will not only reward top players with a seat into the Main Event of the Aussie Millions, but give away huge cash prizes to loyal players.

So how does it work?

Simply put, the more you play during November, the more you win. Rewards are on a wide range of activities at the gambling site, beginning with regular play on cash tables and running through to sit and go’s and multi table tournaments.

All you have to do is play from November 1st through to November 30th, clocking up as many Party Points as possible.

Let’s look at the minimum prize up for grabs – entry into a freeroll tournament that comes with a whopping $5,000 prize pool. All you need to do to win an entry ticket into this competition is aim for the daily minimum of winning ten Party Points any five days during the month of November.

But the Gladiator gambling competition gets even better!

If you earn yourself 1000 points for 25 days during November, you can win a staggering $3,000 points!

But didn’t we mention the Aussie Millions? So here’s how you go about winning entry into the competition that is known for the most expensive buy in prices on the entire live tournament circuit. To win a seat into this competition valued at a whopping $10,500 (Australian), you will need to earn 1000 points for each of the 30 days in the month of November.

Yes, we know that it’s a lot of poker but when you consider the superb prize up for grabs, as well as the great poker gambling software and games you’ll be enjoying along the way at a quality site like Party Poker, you’ll agree that this is definitely a case study for a win-win situation!

Let the party begin!

In the Carribean with Poker Stars

, , ,

Mmmmm, the bahamas. Poker Stars is having the Carribean Adventure tournament which I believe is an EPT, (European Poker Tour) tournament. I've got these private jet airline credits which I feel like using and think this might be a good time to use them. Flying sucks for me because I hate the feeling of not being in control but flying private, yeah, I'll be able to handle it. It'd probably only be a 30 minute flight if that anyways.

So if I get bored next week I might make the trip over. I need to get the hell out of Jacksonville for awhile and Atlantis looks like a pretty neat place. I missed a convention there last year so this might be a good little vacation.

The buy-in for the tournament is $8k plus hotel and all the jazz. There's satellites running at Poker Stars but Im such a bad player these days I'd rather just wing it and hope I get lucky at the actual event. Don't want to use up all my good karma on satellites.

Also, I launched a new site that has some more pokerstars marketing codes. It'll eventually be translated into 3-4 more languages when I get the time. We should be getting a freeroll added to the marketing code sometime next month also for Compatiblepoker visitors.

This just happened today. Pinnacle sportsbook and casino stopped taking US bets. Wow this is huge news especially since they stopped all bets right before the Super Bowl. There must be something really worrying them. Here is the full news piece.

Poker Stars

, , , ...

After playing at Poker Stars for the past few months I started playing at FTP a bit more. I was experiencing some bad beats (probably bad plays by me) and just couldnt get anything going at Poker Stars. It has just been hard to motivate myself to play poker period. What I've really been jonesing to do is play some live tournament events.

To me nothing compares to playing live poker games. While my experience is extremely limited at live events I enjoy them so much more. It's hard to even find a decent home game around Jacksonville and I've been contimplating driving over to New Orleans to play some cards. I have a friend that works over there so I could probably hang out at the TPC golf course over there and play some cards and poker. It would be good times, and a lot better than playing the Poker Stars online tournaments.. The only thing holding me back right now is my car. I desperately need to get a new vehicle. Its not that I can't afford a new car I just really hate spending money on things that depreciate and a car is the ultimate crap hole investment. Although, one day I do want to purchase a dodge viper. Not a new Viper but the 2000 models. The newer models are a little too futuristic for me and I personally like the older styles better.

But anyways, I played Allen Cunningham at Full Tilt Poker the other day and I have to admit, it was the first time I've had fun playing at the poker table in a long time. Actually it was the first online poker table that I've sat down at where the people were acting civilized, which is hard to come by with all the dingbats who play internet poker now. It's like freak central these days.

Last night I was playing at Full Tilt Poker just for fun. I had $100 left over after I paid out some bloggers for ad spaces so I didnt want to cash out such a small amount so I played the heads up $100 NL Holdem table. I played for about an hour and took two peoples bank rolls and got mine own up to about $500. Then the boredom set in and I went to the $2/4 table and lost it all. Even though I knew I could bluff this one guy I kept trying because that's the only thing that excites me playing online poker anymore, trying to get away with stupid bluffs. That's why I don't play the $25/50 tables because I'd get bored and windling away my life savings.

Where to Play internet poker from US?

, , , ...

Me personally I like to play at Pokerstars.com because they are now the biggest and I really like the big tournaments they run. Lately I haven't been playing too much. To me it's just gotten a little boring and the money you win doesn't offset the risk you have to take. For me to get a rush or for it to be worth it I have to play $10/$20 or above and I don't care to do that online. There is too much collusion at those stakes. Im one to believe if you're not playing mid to low stakes online poker it's tough to win a lot because of all the cheaters.
