Online Poker Rooms for US American Citizen?

, , , ...

It's funny when I made this post things were a lost different. The only way for me to keep track of which poker sites are taking americans is to keep update this page www.Compatiblepoker.com/usa.php

Things changed dramatically and in the post below I said Paradise was open and Poker stars was not. That's all changed now.

Party Poker, Poker Stars, and 888 just pulled out of the online poker market. ParadisePoker.com said they will STAY until their time is up.

Some theories are going around that maybe its a good thing that these big sites are pulling out. It will make people aware of the banning and vote accordingly come time for elections.

Really, this whole thing makes me so mad its hard to write. How frustrating is this. Im having a hard time mustering up something to type because I just want to drive up to where ever it is Bill Frist lives and ask him what the fuck his problem is.

I mean seriously is your future agenda really worth pissing off millions of people to get your way. What kind of selfish tyrant is this fucking guy.

Thank you ParadisePoker for having the balls to stay open, even if it's just for a little while.

Party Poker Beefs Up Macintosh Software

, , , ...

I just got word of the Macintosh software for Party Poker that went live with the native Mac Party client. It's pretty sick. I really wasn't expecting it so soon. The manager kind of sprung it on me and all the sudden it was out. But, thank god it's finally released. And also, its nice to see a billion dollar company build a native version instead of just that Java style they put out earlier.

But, I still hate Party Poker as a player. Too many rude people play there so I stick to other places. Party Poker sure does attract some weird people. Maybe us Mac users can bring some decency and civilization to these thugs.

Free Video Poker for Mac

, , , ...

The study by Harrah's stated that Video Poker and SLots were very popular so we decided to do a review of the best casinos with Video Poker for Mac users.

Casino on Net (www.Casinoonnet.com) is still my favorite because they do so much for Mac users. I think it's gotta be the only site out there that strictly devotes a lot of resources to make sure certain things on the Mac work. I also love that the site will find out youre on a Mac and take you to a certain page that has Mac casino games like video poker.

I've played video poker on X box before but never at a casino. That's cool how you can actually win money if you're a skilled player. Some sites will actually payout over 100%. None were Mac compatible but that's why I chose casino on net for my fav.

Native Download Mac Poker - My theory

, , , ...

So I got a little bored and decided to write my theory on where poker rooms for Mac were heading. It's my belief that we won't see any (maybe 1 or 2) sites coming out that are native to Macs. My who speel was that it's because of politics. Its too much of a gamble to build native software for Macs when the entire market is in the USA which faces banning.(absolutely bogus).

From my perspective and since I kind of see what's happening behind the scenes at a lot of poker sites we can expect a lot of Java compatible software coming out. Here's the whole article if youre interested.
