I just got word of the
Macintosh software for Party Poker that went live with the native Mac Party client. It's pretty sick. I really wasn't expecting it so soon. The manager kind of sprung it on me and all the sudden it was out. But, thank god it's finally released. And also, its nice to see a billion dollar company build a native version instead of just that Java style they put out earlier.
But, I still hate Party Poker as a player. Too many rude people play there so I stick to other places. Party Poker sure does attract some weird people. Maybe us Mac users can bring some decency and civilization to these thugs.

I was revising the
Macintosh Casino section on CompatiblePoker and it hit me. The casino side for Macs really sucks. It used to be there were no poker sites for Macs but that's definately changed. Really there's only like 3 places that are half way decent. Alot of casinos say they are Mac compatible but are not. Like, what the hell is the point in that. They want you to play their software so bad they lie.....not like it matters because you can't download the software anyway. It's just strange so Im going to go searching again. This time Im using 10.3.9 to verify all the Macintosh compatible casinos because I'm starting to get pissed. If you guys find any please email me so I can get them up. I got a nice suggestion from Johan last week about a site we put up.
By the way, Im loving the new house. It's nice not hearing screeching cars and people outside my window having sex in their hot tub anymore.

The
Mac Bingo guide is up. A friend of mine from paw mentioned a bingo room he owns. He's a really nice guy and has been around for awhile. The bingo room he runs is in the guide and is part of the Bingo Room Network which is probably the biggest provider in Bingo rooms that work on a Mac.
It was a little weird playing bingo online. They start you off with $10 to play on the two open bingo tables. But to actually play the real games you have to deposit money. It seems like they try to get you to play the slot and casino games while you wait for players to fill up the each bingo round. All in all I'm glad I added it to the Mac guides.

The news is out just like I said. Party Poker for Mac now has a download version. It will be out sometime this week but hopefully within 2 weeks. Party Poker seems to be keeping it hush hush before they launch. Although, I think the fake money .net version will work. SO does the no-download version though. Here is the news piece

They took long enough but finally started adding Bonus codes for Full Contact Poker. Here is the first one we got at Full Contact Poker (
www.Fullcontactpoker.com)
Bonus Code for September -
16415That bonus code got me 100% up to $200 which was not bad. You have to enter it into the referral and promotion section. The full review on the whole site and bonus releasements is at the
Full Contact Poker review.
The site is pretty cool. Actually the poker room is nothing special just another copy of Poker Room. I really liked the forum. Seems like people were cool and Negreanu posts alot. Im not a huge forum poster but made a couple there. Im going to see if we can get a freeroll going down sometime next week possible. I played the site on my iBook Macintosh and it worked fine. Should work on pretty much all Mac computers if you use the Java.
Til then,
Roger
