Free Video Poker for Mac

, , , ...

The study by Harrah's stated that Video Poker and SLots were very popular so we decided to do a review of the best casinos with Video Poker for Mac users.

Casino on Net (www.Casinoonnet.com) is still my favorite because they do so much for Mac users. I think it's gotta be the only site out there that strictly devotes a lot of resources to make sure certain things on the Mac work. I also love that the site will find out youre on a Mac and take you to a certain page that has Mac casino games like video poker.

I've played video poker on X box before but never at a casino. That's cool how you can actually win money if you're a skilled player. Some sites will actually payout over 100%. None were Mac compatible but that's why I chose casino on net for my fav.

High Stakes BlackJack Online

, , , ...

Is it just me or is $5,000 hands of BlackJack at www.Vipcasino.com absolutely off the wall crazy! They've got a special high limit table just for the ballers. I mean holy friggen crap that's insane. Playing $5 hands of BJ is tooo much for me let alone $100, but $5,000 is just absurd and I've seen some people play these high stakes blackjack online games before.

I was reading an article on John Daly and how he plays a lot of high stakes blackjack online. Actually he mostly plays it at live casinos but I think he mentioned how you could play online just as easy. So I take it that referenced himself as a high stakes BJ player online.

Million dollar swings were nothing to Daly during his prime. The guy would guy up and down 2 or 3 million in a night. Endorsements and contracts supposedly kept him a float because his tournament winnings couldnt cover the $40 million loss he had at the casino. He talked about how if he would just leave in the first hour he played he would be up a lot. But, like all of us he was pretty addicted. For him it was an escape from reality similiar to what golf was to him. He said he could literally forget where he was an all the sudden 10 hours were gone.

Because this subject is quite rare I went through with adding a High Stakes Blackjack section to our high stakes casino page. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Ill stick to poker and leave these games for the rich because christ I can't even afford the $1 games anymore.

Party Poker for Mac

, , , ...

I'm updating this because PARTY POKER IS NOW POSSIBLE ON THE MAC!

Usually each month I contact Party Poker to see if I can finally add them to my website for Mac compatible poker rooms. Every time Party Poker gives me the same reply. This time they finally told me they had a Mac compatible version (www.partypoker.com)

"Im sorry but we currently do not have a Mac compatible version but you can use Virtual PC or Boot Camp."

First off I dont want to use any of that crap to play poker on my Mac. Yes it's an option but damit we shouldn't have to. They are the biggest poker room on the internet and they can't make a no-download software or hell....a native Mac version. I mean Full Tilt did it and they're half the size.

It's just really making me angry that they have yet and probably never will build software for the Mac. My dreams of Party Poker for Mac is just as likely that I'll wake up next to Carmen Electra. Well bad analogy....Carmen Electra has slept with half of California so that would mean there would be a chance.

Really, the only reason I would like to play at Party Poker is because of their multi-table tournaments. I remember in college you could sit at a big field event just about any time, for any price. Full Tilt is great and all but they just don't have that. You gotta register and usually wait a day for the field to fill up.

Some day, some day. If you were really interested in playing at Party Poker then I try emailing support every month. I send out periodic newsletters for people who sign up on my site www.Compatiblepoker.com so if any word gets out about Party Poker on a Mac then I'll be first to get wind of it. The newsletter sign up is on the right hand column bar.

Internet Poker Theory

, , , ...

After about 4 years of playing online poker pretty seriously I decided to write a small article on Internet Poker Theory. Exciting yeah I know but it just goes into some basic fundamental concepts that I've learned from playing, interviews with pros, and other things. When I look at Internet poker from now and when it began it seems its still pretty much the same. There is a lot more money involved these days though. Heck I remember when the biggest cash games played online were the $100 tables at Party Poker. They then bumped it to $200 and everyone was like oooooooo ahhhhhhhhh. Now the $200 tables are considered the puss tables and anything below $5/10 is low stakes.

Mac Slot Game

, , , ...

I just joined Bodog's Mac casino for the Mac slot games (www.Bodog.com). Im not a real big slot game or casino player for that matter but christ that crap is addicting. I was playing slots for over 2 hours and the time just goes right by. I wonder how hard it is to actually win one of those progressive Jackpots. I guess that's what makes it so addicting because once you hit the jackpot you probably hooked from then on out.

I've never played at a brick and mortar casino or at least the casino games because I was just never all that interested in the games. The people there always kind of deterred me from becoming a serious gambler but internet casinos can be kinda fun. I guess in brick and mortar casinos it's more about having fun with your friends than seriously trying to make money.
