Received Letter from my Representative Regarding Online Gambling
Thursday, 21. September 2006, 06:30:55
After I got finished playing some $5/10 ($1,000) tables today in which I made a litte bit of money I opened up the mail. Low and behold it was a letter from the Representative John Mica. I had emailed him a couple months prior telling him how much I disapproved about the gambling act to ban poker online. He's our representative down here in Ponte Vedra Beach Florda. Not that I know much about this stuff, but I did it because I felt obligated because it's how I make a living (not working 9-5). In his return letter I was hoping to get some valid points. They were all extremely bad and you could tell he didnt know much about internet gambling at all.
Yes there are some extremely crappy stuff that goes on like fraud and money laundering. But hell look at Ebay. More scams and junk revolve around ebay than anywhere I know. I think 50% of the people I know have gotten their identity stolen or ripped on from Ebay scammers. So if you read the article I wrote that he sent me you see what I'm talking about. It's just too bad they can't see the truth behind all that corruption.
Later,
Roger
