The builds got mixed up slightly when posting new builds on the Desktop Team blog yesterday, sorry about that. Here's the correct one:

Nearly unuseable for me, there seems to be a funny focus/redrawing/whatever issue that freezes the whole page content. If it occurs I can't select text, use forms or scroll any more.

[edit:] I'm on 10.5.3 and I think it happened as soon as I switched to another tab. Reverted to previous snapshot now.

Yes, there are indeed severe redraw issues in this build.

Unusable. 'Cause if I scroll it works but it won't be shown, until I switch to another tab und back. Redraw issues. It's sad, because it's the fastest build since the second beta. I switched back to 4833

I hope it will get fixed soon.

@Joachim: Thx for the fixed build! Not seeing any redraw issues yet on v10.5.3-intel.

Great speed on this build too! Noticing Gmail2 is usable again, also.

Unusable for me, too. Normal redrawing behavior sometimes works again after going back and forward in history.

@ Chas4- The link works if you right click and select edit site preferences and under network change it to mask as firefox.

I got it to work on the beta version with the build 4839! but not by masking, it was just a reload and MSN video let me in as Idetified as Opera

@intelimac20inch MSN still makes it hard for Opera users to this day:

@ Chas4- Here is a shot of msn video working in opera masking as firefox using build 4839 on mac os 10.4.11 intel. I'm using flash version 9.0.124. Hmm

that is the beta version and I have got it do do that but with Identify as Opera my screenshot is in Opera 9.27 it does the same thing in Safari 3.1.1

Having scrolling and redrawing issues here as well.

My DNS-resolution problems seem to be fixed now though...

But unusable for me...

MSN videos work fine in Build 4844, FYI, guys. Note that MSNBC videos have worked fine since their redesign, but the flyout menus are still blocked if ID=Opera. I don't use the flyout menus too much, so I keep ID=Opera so they see it in their web stats.

@Chas4: Try reloading a couple times, maybe. It's a heavy site.

The Apple ads don't work in any build of the beta (http://www.apple.com/getamac/ads/)
The page scrolls alot and the video is somewhere in the middle.
Otherwise, 4844 works well for now :-)

Confirmed on the same build 4844 it plays the quicktime audio but not the video

@ manusnake - I tried the apple getamac ad's on macos x.4.11 and using build 4844 and tried masking as firefox the video flicked like crazy. If you lefty it as indentify as opera it just does the audio as Chas4 said.

Hi, I still use OS 10.2.8 on a PowerPC G3. 4844 won't mount, message reads:

"o950s_4844dmg" failed to mount due to error 95. (no mountable file systems)

Hope there's a fix coming. Alan
