Speaking to myself

Our eldest son was born in feb 01, 1991. I was then 30 years old and of youthful spirit. So far i can remember, i never let him rest without my embracing arms and his eyes used to fetch nothing except my face.
Time passed. We let him admitted into an english medium school. We saw him as a brilliant student. He got 8 A's in his O level exam and 4 A's in AS level.
What makes us very much disappointed about him is his lack of seriousness about everything. He does not go to his teachers regularly, sometimes week after weeks. Gave up schooling after his O-level and passes time doing absolutely nothing. I think if i can send him abroad for his undergraduate studies, he may realize hardship of life and it will do good for him. But there is only a few days left to meet the deadline to apply for it and i wish i could apply on his behalf.
Okay, he managed somehow to apply and offer letter came. But soon he found colleges he applied was not upto very good ranking and became not interested in it. In this year, he got another offer from a ranking university and we hope this time he will go for it.
