A battle field

Now, i'm going to tell you something. Let's move to the golden age of Indian sub-continent.
Few days ago i'v read a book named 'Adventure in Afghanistan'. I've forgot the author's name. But i remember he's u.s. citizen.
What i found in the book, is just like wake up from grave.
We know Afghanistan as a battle field, a country of al qayeda-talibans, a land of poor's, ophium exporters etc.
Now i ask, "do you know these names Gajni, Kandahar, Kabul, Herat?" You'll say "SURE, i know".
Everyone who knows Indian sub-continent's history, also knows these names as light houses of respectable heritage. Jahiruddin Mohammad Babur, who established Mughal Empire; came from Afghanistan.
Now indian sub-continent is known as third world. But the reality is, from stone age to the mid of 18th century indian sub-continent was one of the most advanced civilization. From the mid of 18th century to the mid of 20th century this sub-continent were under the british rule. And during that period india lost glory. The contradiction between rulers and the people of india destroyed the educational, financial, cultural glamour of indian sub-continent. And it wasn't possible to get independence without the two great leaders: Gandhi and Jinnah. I think these two deserved to win the Nobel peace prize.
I don't want to express the mentality against the british. But, what I've mentioned that's true. And wars were not only between indians and british. U know, French army helped indians in wars against british till they left india. We know about many wars between one-another among British, french, Portuguese, German, Austrian, Chinese, Arabs, Americans etc. Actually, war is part of time that will remain on earth till it's destruction.
But now, things are going to be changed again in south asia. And i hope, again south Asia will come forward within next 25 years. She has already started to run. But now, you can't see the change. Cause, still it's dawn. You'll notice it when it'll be morning.
Do you agree?
