PROPOSAL - International Legal Defense League

To All Concerned Who Is Under Legal Threat By Davidian,

Peace be with you!

As a person who is brought to lawsuit by Davidian, I deeply understand your emotional and social situation in present moment. Though we understand that this is a calling of God, it is really hard experience to take such a heavy burden on one's shoulder. It should be called an experience of the Way of the Cross.

However, we, as a Body of Christ, can share the burden in Creative Way.

In present moment, there are six organizations and persons in China, Korea and Japan to whom Davidian sent legal letters to predict legal action.

It is my proposal that those six organizations and persons may form "International Legal Defense League" (ILDL) to share informations, evidences, legal advices, resources, public relations, spiritual encouragements and intercessory prayers.

I think we need such an international network, because we must defense to Davidian - a global network of heresy.

Followings are key for the formation;

(a) Prepare List of Members.
(b) Prepare List of Lawyers.
(c) Appoint Board of Directors.
(d) Appoint Board of Legal Advisors.
(e) Prepare Mailing List of E-Mail.
(f) Appoint Language Service Person.
(g) Appoint Public Relations Officer.
(h) Appoint Web Administrator.
(i) Prepare Web Site for Public Relations.
(j) Appoint Archive Officer to Organize Evidences.

Response to Korean Christiantoday Article Dated 22 June 2008

The Koean Christiantoday, one of many tongues of Rev. David Jang, posted an article regarding present on-going "Davidian Question" in East Asia, especially in Chinese speaking people, dated 22 June 2008.

http://kr.christianitydaily.com/view.htm?id=192923

In that article, Rev. Lo Sek Wai and Major Makoto Yamaya are pointed out as "Anti-Korean Activists".

However, this personal description is wholly contrary to the truth.

I, the Major Makoto Yamaya, is always thankful to Korean Christian's spiritual and practical help to all nations, especially to Japan. I deeply love for and respect to Korean culture. Reading "History of Sinlla Dynasty"(三国史記新羅本紀), watching TV drama "Changum"(大長今) and enjoying various Korean foods are my favorite things.

I also feel very sorry to tragedy to Korean people that was brought by Japanese government during term of 1910 to 1945. Many Christians were matyred because they wished to be faithful to one and only Lord Jesus Christ and rejecting worship to Shinto Shrine. I would like to apologize for those tragedy which was made by my grandfather's generation.

I, the Major Makoto Yamaya, always wish to be faithful to one and only Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

And I have heard that within Davidian Circle, Rev. David Jang is adored as "Second Coming Christ". This is the "Davidian Question".

As a Christian, I must present objection about the "Davidian Question" as a matter of Christian conscience.

And you may know, that this is definitely NOT a matter of NATION but the matter of UNIVERSAL CONSCIENCE. I belive that the Lord Jesus Christ is the King of Universe. Japan, China, Korea and all other nations are His Subjects. To respect Sovereignty of the Lord Jesus Christ and to object False Christ is duty of all King's Subjects. Nationality of the False Christ is no matter.

As a Christian who belong to New Jerusalem in Heaven, and am now temporally living in a nation called Japan, I pray every blessings to Christians in Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. The King reigns all nations forever and there is no place for False Christ.

Open Letter of Encouragement To Brothers Yeungs

Dear Brothers Yeungs,

Greeting in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
May peace and grace be with you.

I have listened that you are now under severe attack from Davidians at many places in Cyberspace.
I have read that in those malice-full words cast on you, you are even connected to name and person of mine, Major Makoto Yamaya, and are described as a conspiracy worker together with me.

When I think of your emotional burden and depression in this most difficult situation, I also feel very sorry and very sad, and even I feel very low together with yours.

I can understand your burden, because I am also described as a "Satan Worshipper and Cyber Terrorist" by Davidians at many places in Cyberspace, using various languages including English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. This discredit is spreading in global size!

Though I always try my best to accomplish accountability to those "act of discredit", I also feel that I never have enough time, energy and concentration to speak against those ceaselessly multiplying malice-full words of Davidians in Cyberspace.

However, I think that when someone determines himself/herself to fight against Heresy/Cult, he/she needs to drink this kind of "Painful Cup of Bitterness".
And even I believe that there are some kind of people who are called by God and are specially designed to drink this particular "Painful Cup of Bitterness" to accomplish Mission charged by God.

I believe that you and I are listening to this "Calling" in this very moment.

And if God is really calling us to drink this "Painful Cup of Bitterness", I believe that on the same time, God has already prepared abundant provision for us to endure this burden by power of the Holy Spirit.

I know that this way is named as "Way of the Cross".

Because of the present on-going severe discredit to us, name and person of yours and mine may be die on the worst course of the matter.
However, I would like to encourage you and myself, that on the "Way of the Cross", we are always seeing the end.

The end of the way is not a cold tomb, but Glorious Resurrection of the dead.
One day, we too will be resurrected into the glory. Because we know that our Lord Jesus Christ was died by severe attack, but was resurrected and glorified to give us life all.

I believe that life of the "Resurrection" is already at work within us, because we are united with our Lord Jesus Christ.

And I know that life of the "Resurrection" can not work at all within Davidians, because we know that they are united to David the False Christ, not to the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
On this very point, we understand that we are already victors.

So I am writing this letter of encouragement to you to remember that even though there are painful moments to you, you are already victor, because you have union with Christ Jesus!

Please take care for yourself and for your family. I always pray for you.

Every blessing to you!

Testimony of Conversion of Makoto Yamaya

Makoto Yamaya - a testimony from "Decision" magazine.

Right now I am in what I call my ‘happy decade’.

One day in the fall of 1980 I sat in the Tokyo Korakuen Stadium in Japan, not to watch a baseball game but to see a miracle. A few days before, my uncle Sokichi Mori had telephoned and said, ‘Let’s go see a miracle, shall we?’

‘Miracle?’ I asked.

He said, ‘My wife’s friend is a clerk at a Christian bookstore, and she invited us to come to see a miracle.’

I knew nothing about this friend, but I suppose she must have been a faithful Christian, practicing friendship evangelism. The Strange but interesting term ‘miracle’ was her word to express an evangelistic service to be held in the stadium. Anyway, I decided to go.

I was not a religious person.[1] My family’s background is Buddhism and Shintoism. I had attended a religious kindergarten,[2] where I was taught that God exists and that Jesus Christ is His Son. So I knew about Him, but I didn’t know I could have a personal relationship with Him.

I felt as if I were walking in a dark valley, like Christian, the traveller in John Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress. I did not know the true meaning or purpose of life. I wondered why I had been born. Why did human beings have to live if there was nothing after death? If God existed, as I had learned in kindergarten, then where was He? I was just like a travelier who had fallen into the slime pit.

It was cold the day I went to the stadium.[3] But inside it was filled with warm sounds of music. I was surprised to hear so many people singing joyfully in one voice.

That day I heard Billy Graham.[4] It seemed that he was preaching the Gospel just for me. Through his strong words I learned that I was a sinner on the way to hell. But at the same time I came to know that the Son of God had shed His holy blood for redemption of my sins.

I confessed my sins before God and accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour. Truly it was a miracle, for I received heavenly life! I thank God for Billy Graham and his service in Tokyo.

Now I have a personal relationship with God. Every day I study God’s Word, read devotional books, pray and listen to learn God’s will for me. In my devotional time I read stories of other Christians all over the world. These teach me and are helpful to me.

In April 1988 I graduated from Seikei University, then entered the college for Salvation Army officers.[5] In 1990 I will finish my courses and become a full-time worker for the Lord in the Salvation Army.

All of Japan is an open field for evangelism. Less than 1 per cent of my country’s 121 million people have any knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. If God opens the way, I hope to become involved in active evangelism here. Our country is a fertile field and needs much prayer. Economically it is strong, but spiritually it is weak.

Now that I know the true meaning and purpose of life, I want to tell others. The answer are all in Holy Bible: ‘Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thine soul, and with all thy might’ (Deuteronomy 6:5, KJV). This is the purpose of my life. God loves me and I love Him. I know the love of Jesus Christ.

I was saved in 1980, and in 1990 I became a Salvation Army officer. That’s why I have called this my ‘happy decade’. It was given to me by God.[6]

In that message, Billy Graham presented Second Coming of Christ as overflowing hope of Christian life. On the same time, Graham mentioned about "False Prophet" and "False Christ" who will appear in the end times according to Matthew 24:11. Graham asked his audience to be cautious to these "False Prophet" and "False Christ".
