Besos...

Pero no te inquietes mi vida
que como tus besos no hay dos
porque el mejor beso es, cariño,
cuando nos besamos tú y yo

Rosana Arbelo "Besos"

Do you remember the very first time you kissed your girl/boy? How it was... how it tasted... how it happened...

I remember five first kisses I give/recieved in my life... but misfortunately I can't say a word about the first three of them... because I know some relatives of those girls could read this blog and we could get ourselves into deep deep shit... the only thing I could say is, The first was inside a room at my grandparent's house... the second was in her bedroom while we were playing tumbling and teasing each other... the third was inside a classroom... where I used to teach...

The fourth... I remember it as it were just yesterday... we were attending to the same music school, I remember I had already told you about this story, so the only thing I can only add to this is her exactly words when we kissed each other: "hummm... tasty... salty... I like it!" (there's another one I remember, when I went to her house and when we were saying good bye... we hugged and she told me "you know... I really wanted to see you...")

The fifth, with this girl from the north of the country, when she went to pick me up at the Bus Station... I hadn't see her so I decided to go to the nearest Telephone and phone her... when then she screamed to me, in her adorable northern tone of voice "were are you going... fool?" She approached to me and instentively we hugged each other.... she raised her face and when we realized we were kissing each other...

Once I heard from Dr. House something like "your first tongue kiss is like an 8 in the happiness-scale"... but I may add that the first kiss a girl / boy gives you... is definetly more than just 8....

Good night... and ice-cream kisses for all of you!

By the end of the lesson...

,

By the end of the day I couldn't obtain a single Kinder Suprise Egg from the 6 Tons we recieved from Buenos Aires flight... and I couldn't even have my picture with that monument ...

But I got to great things instead...

The things i get to see...

(you know, I think it may be a nice Tag for my posts )

See you... soon.

I know it is something very irresponsible from my part telling that I have never ever read anything about Mario Benedetti. I have never read any of his poems, his work. What it's more: I must confess that the very first time I heard this song I didn't know it was his the poem they recitate at the beginning.

This post is on the memory of him. Thank you for giving me this poem.

me podés preguntar
y sobre todo
puedo yo responder

uno no siempre hace lo que quiere
pero tiene el derecho de no hacer
lo que no quiere

llorá nomás botija
son macanas
que los hombres no lloran
aquí lloramos todos

gritamos berreamos moqueamos chillamos
maldecimos
porque es mejor llorar que traicionar
porque es mejor llorar que traicionarse

llorá
pero no olvides

On the voice of Edel Juárez and Edgar Osceransky, with a Silvio Rodríguez song: De la Ausencia y de ti

History that fades away...

,

I remember, the first time I went to see one of my favourit Composers, Fernando Delgadillo, was in an open-air forum called "Felipe Villanueva" inside of a well known park on the North of the city named Naucalli. It was a wonderful night in which I could reassure my taste for that kind of music...

... but the second time I saw him was in a so-called Restaurant-Bar-Theatre... a wonderful forum in which you could have not only a tasty meal accompanied with a delicious drink, and what is more: with your friends (date  ) while having your favourite composer singing for you only 1 meter away...

This place is called "La Planta de Luz", located at the south of the city, inside of Plaza Loreto. I remember it as if it were only yesterday... when I proposed this friend Connie and her sister to go and see Delgadillo.. when I discovered that her sister invited her friend and she invited his boyfriend... who has invited two friends... when we realized we were like ten people waiting to be assigned a table, the front and first table just in front of the scenary...

That night we drank, we ate, we sang along Delgadillo, Feliú, also David Filio went as guest and while he was singing Cambiando El Rumbo ( we were hitting the table instead of clapping along the song... ) and at the end of the concert... we were invited to see the Live Transmition of the National Soccer Team during the World Cup...

I went to that place with very special people to me... Eztigma, La Trucha, Federico, Yesica, Coco, Daniela Chanes, Connie and her family...

... I'm writing this post because today I recieved a feed on my email informing that due the crisis created by the Whine Flu, La Planta de Luz will close definetly the doors, next Saturday, May 23.

It's a shame... I really had great times at that place. I will miss it.

Chasing Planes...

When was the last time you drove a Van among planes?

Me? Just yesterday

Barely heard....

A bunch of girls (sibilings among them) playing "Hide and Seek" in the garage:

- "Mom!!! Monntserrat and the girls don't want to play with me anymore!!"

- "We do want to play!! But you don't wanna do the counting! It's your turn!! :furious: "

- "It is because I don't know how to count :frown:"

Homer: Doh!

This is not a drill! I repeat: This is NOT a drill!

Answering to a comment made by Eztigma, in which he says "The things you get to see..." I share with you this experience...

As MEX is the IATA code for Mexico International Airport, LAX for Los Angeles Airport, LAS for Las Vegas, ORD for Chicago, EZE for Buenos Aires, Argentina, YVR for Vancouver, and so on... GRU is for Guarulhos - Gobernador André Franco Montoro Sao Paulo International Airport... which is one of the 4 airports that serves the city.

This story begins like... 10:30 pm... when the flight was about to take off from MEX to GRU, when the Capitan of the Boeing 767 noticed what seemed to be a leek in the pressure of one of the engines while they were running for taking off... this made the captain to abort the operation and decided to get back to the platform... where Maintenance Officers where waiting for it.

After a brief checking the team decided to take off again, the operation repated itself, and again the same leek forced to cancel, while still running, the taking off...

We, as Operations Officers, where called to recieve and attend the flight in its second attempt to take off, direct it to the platform and give the services they ask for us... the problem began when all we realized that the brakes were extremely hot (even they were glowing in red) and started to melt the tires, then it was when emergency state was declared and the guys from CREI (Cuerpo de Rescate y Extinción de Incendios) where called.

Everything happened toooo fast, on one side, Firemen extinguishing the fire from the tires, on the other hand, the well known explotion from the Inflatable Chute in order to evacuate all the passangers and crew...

By 2 o'clock on the morning, Platform 42 was the center of the airport, Authorities, Company Personnel, Firemen, Police Officers, everybody was there...

But, What the hell happened there? Why if it was an Engine Failure problem, there was fire on the main landing gear? The answer was given from a Maintenance guy and the Captain of the CCS (Caracas, Venezuela) flight: after two taking off abortions, the Brakes Kit got really REALLY hot... so what they would have done was to return to the platform AFTER the FIRST attempt and wait for the brakes to cool a bit before the second attempt.

Have you ever seen a Virga?

While I was at school, during my Meteorologics Lesson, I was asked if I have ever seen a Virga... obviously, among only guys (no girls in the classroom) I thought the teacher was... playing with my feelings...

Now, some years after that embarassing situation... I finally saw a Virga...

But, what the hell is a Virga?

Wikipediaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Virga

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In meteorology, virga is an observable streak or shaft of precipitation that falls from a cloud but evaporates before reaching the ground

This was quite a remarkable show...
