"The Backbone is stronger than the wishbone."

This is something my wise father says. It just hit me other night, when i over heard my parents talking about me doing a phD. I realised that I say soooooooo much about what i'd like or want to do, but never do it. It's pretty annoying. So operation 'backbone stronger than the wishbone' starts today. It'll cover a range of things, from finally getting round to going to the dentist or clearing out my wardrobe, to studying hard and emigrating to Canada to getting my violin mended and eventually learning it to the standard I want to.
