SUMMARY :
The story deals about wealthy Advocate M.L. Gupta lives with his wife Maya. One day he travels to Calcutta and he takes shelter with a prostitute Panna during an air raid. Then Gupta returns home and decides to forget about this affair. Shortely Maya gives a birth to baby boy Johar and she also adopts a male child Kishore. Gupta ask her to leave him but she doesn\'t do this, so he re-locates to America. After Twenty years the Gupta family is fated to meet again. Kishore who is recruited by Gupta to tutor while Johar who instead of becoming an Advocate has forsaken the worldly possessions. Meanwhile Kishore falls in love with Asha and Johar who falls in affair with Lata.Then Johar find his mother who living with Kishore and comes to know about that she is arrested for killing Jeevanlal, and the eye-witness is none other than Lata.
