Rajesh Khanna - The Original Super Star of Indian Cinema.
Today we speak of movies that makes 100 and above crores at the box office and are declared blockbuster, but very few of us know that there was this superstar during 1970’s and 1980’s whose movies used to run for 100 weeks and more uninterrupted, and were re-released several times for the entertainment of movie-goers. That shining real star of 1970s and 1980’s was none other than Rajesh Khanna. Girls/Women used to get married to his photograph and his cars used to get kissed by desperate fans. He is also the only superstar to have had 15 hit movies on the trot. The real fact during 1970’s and 1980’s in Amritsar which has 16 theatres and once all the 16 theatres were playing his films. This has never happened in the history of cinema world that all the theatres in a town were playing the films of just one actor (Rajesh Khanna). He never had use the borrowed crutches to rule Bollywood
