I had the chance to read this amazing booklet by Kathryn Kuhlman today amid a busy work schedule. In this booklet, she recounts the agonizing experience of a woman who had been rendered invalid by a debilitating disease called Multiple Sclerosis(which is incurable) for seventeen years. This woman(Marion) had suffered so many horrid ordeals and had paid countless visits to various hospitals so much so that she had lost all hope and gotten to the point of utter despair and wished that God will take her life.
This is when she meets a friend who prays for her and invites her to a Kathryn Kuhlman meeting. She was hesitant yet was made to attend by her family and there encounters the healing touch of God!
Everyone including her family and doctors, is astonished after the dramatic change in her physique upon her healing encounter even causing her personal physician to remark "You are not only healed, Mrs. Burgio; you are a new person"
Marion sums up her exhilaration by giving her own rendition of the famous quote by Robert Benchly(i.e. "Life begins at forty"). She says "Life doesn't begin at forty. It begins at fifty-seven!"
I believe in miracles!!!
