A Scandal In Bohemia

As I write this, I'm seated in a trotro en route home. I am usually tired after work and often sit in silence on my way home and occasionally dose off when I get to sit beside the window where it is airy. But today, I did something different. I downloaded a free ebook which is a collection of short stories of Sherlock Holmes and his puzzling mysteries. I just finished reading the first one and I must confess I enjoyed it!
In A Scandal In Bohemia, the shrewd and unorthodox private investigator Holmes is summoned by an anonymous man to retrieve a scandalous photograph from from his former lover who has threatened to ruin his impending marriage with the photos. Holmes accepts and embarks on this tasks which eventually concludes in a pleasantly unexpected ending!
This was a pleasant read which lived up to my expectation. The character Holmes is most intriguing and sharp witted and seems to discern a great deal of information from ΨђåƮ will appear regular and commonplace to the average man. Mr. Watson(his sidekick and narrator of the story) queried him on this to which Holmes responded to the effect that though many people SEE, they often fail to OBSERVE. He also employs the most unusual tactic in solving his mystery and I guess that is ΨђåƮ makes him so successful an investigator.
One will also meet the beatufil operatic Irene Adler who proves herself to be equally(if not more) sharply witted as Holmes to be able to foil his scheme! Or was this due to the fact that she had been afore warned of the wiles of Holmes and therefore was anticipating his moves?
Maybe you can share your views with me if and when you do get the chance to read this short story.
