I believe
all people have a gift to share...
Some people have a gift
of bringing life to the stillness
of an empty canvas...
maybe because they paint
from somewhere deep in their soul.
Others..
the gift of kindness,
they kindle the flame of love in an empty heart.
Some..
have the gift of time
to share with a lonely soul.
maybe..
you have the gift of compassion..
or ~
understanding..
maybe you are able to say
the right words at the right time
bringing comfort to a broken heart.
maybe...just maybe
your gift is as simple as a smile.
Whatever your gift...
don't let it sit idle,
take it down off the shelf,
brush off the cob webs
and share it with others....
Make this world a better place.
