And A Storm Came

Supposedly we have a performance to do for a wedding but because of a big storm, “Ondoy” the affair is postponed for sometime we still don’t know. We thought of the couple who did that extensive preparations for a grand day but waiting until it is over. It’s really a hit storm and all areas of metro manila are flooded according to news on tv and radio.
This thing going is likened to life. Things just happen unexpectedly. Sometimes good, sometimes bad and the lesson here is preparation for the unexpected. We are masters of our destinies but we are not God to know all. Sometimes we decide wrongly. Sometimes right. We are after all human and that makes life exciting and a challenge.
As I am writing this, still the strong rain and fearful gushes of air and intermittent pourings make me wonder that this is one sign to sit and think. Maybe, telling you relax and listen to your soul. The drops of rain have magic on them. They refresh your thoughts and create a balm as you are amidst the silence of your room with faint light and tidy surroundings. It adds magic, so to speak. Also, it seems music to the ears. Listen to the pouring of the rain. It is controlled and has rythmn. It has dynamics as a song goes. Even the accompanying gushes put drama to the sound. For me it is very evident that it’s creating the real meaning of music.
How long does it last. I have to attend to something tomorrow and maybe by then the music is done. September 26, 2009 is a day to remember for special event was gone wary and our thoughts for the couple who is getting married today won’t push through. I know their guests understood and surely another date is set for this forthcoming big affair.
