About me

It is a pleasure to introduce myself to all and leaders of the world from a corner of the Bangladesh.

From the beautiful heart of the Bangladesh I would like to introduce you as a Buddhist Monk and indigenous peoples beautifully, happily, peacefully.

I am Mong Mong Thun Marma. I was born at Gowraopara, Bandarban Hill District the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh in 1973.

We are six member in our family, there are two brother including I, two sisters and parents. The parents and elder brother and sisters are living in beautiful village except I. I have moved Bandarban town and Hoyarapa Anathalai for study higher education since eleven years but before moved to there I have studied the basic education of mother languages in the Buddhist Missionary School because of it is our tradition.

In 1990 then I were secondary certificate examinee but unfortunately I have to moved to Yangon of Myanmar for study higher education on Buddhism to 1995. In June 1995 I come back to Motherland after was ordination at the Vepularama Sima under the late Ven. U Sasana Mahathero, Mularatana Rongkhre Kyaog with six assistance Karaka Monks in New Shouthdagon, Yangon of Myanmar by sponsor of Mr. U Kolei family.

While I had arrived in Bangladesh I again started to study academic education and passed Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary Certificate in 1997. Further I have studied on Master Travel Program from International Correspondence School, Pennsylvania, USA and also completed Diploma in English from National Youth Training Center, Dhaka.

In 1997 as first for Missionary work I went to Thalipara Mohalchari Thana in Khagrachari Districts of Bangladesh and taught for two year on Buddhism in that location and got beautiful results and moved to Peace Prayer Chetiya Bandarban and Purnachar International Temple in Chittagong City and present living in Dharma Jyoti Vihara, Dhamrai, Dhaka since 2000 as a Deputy Abbot by teaching the Theravada Buddhism.

Experience: I have ten year teaching experience on Buddhism. Attended on Opening Ceremony for Bodh Gaya Buddhist Temple as a "World Heritage" by UNESCO February 17-19, 2004 New Delhi India. To that dedication ceremony and declaration to Bodha Gaya Buddhist Temple, I have attended International Conclave on Buddhism & Spiritual Tourism by sponsored of Ministry of Tourism and Culture & Ministry of Civil Aviation of Government of India.
