Is that AIDS terrible?
The danger of AIDS is a kind of discourse created by WHO (read: world health organization) which is working together with drug and condom companies. Sort of mutual symbiosis. Companies increase drug selling and get much more profit, while WHO obtains financial support from companies.

If we know that cfr (case fatality rate), i would say that AIDS is not too dangerous. Let's compare with bird flu, alzeimer, and other deadly diseases... Which one is more dangerous? The following weeks after getting infection of H5N1, i guaranty that patients will not safe, or at least getting invalid. While people with AIDS still be able to live as long as they have spirit to maintain their lives.

Actually, social sanction is more terrible than the disease, sort of discrimimation and stigmatization toward AIDS. Therefore, giving support to PLWA is much more important than constructing the danger of AIDS.

this aids epidemic thing has been blown out of proportion...all these research foundations are pumping billions into it even though the cure is beyond our reach. it would be better if they spend even a percentage on other diseases like malaria, dengue etc etc that are endemic in Africa & certain other parts of Asia.

Yes, i absolutely agree with you. We should think other epidemic diseases, under nutrition, and many other natural disasters. They are also need our hands.
