Ha ha h ah ah. I watched this video for several time. I'm just worried what will my wife say if she look at me in front of my monitor with my tongue like that.
Maybe she will say "Ape kerja ni abang? Sengal betul... Dah takde kerja lain la tu. Dah kahwin pun tengok gambar tak senonoh..."
In english "What was wrong with you abang? Please behave yourself. We've married for years but you still with pornographic materials".
I will say "No honey, this is no pornographic. It is the opera browser which bring a revolutionary experience with some face gestures. Hah ah ha ha ha ha"
Easystroke is a gesture-recognition application for X11. Gestures or strokes are movements that you make with you mouse (or your pen, finger etc.) while holding down a specific mouse button. Easystroke will execute certain actions if it recognizes the stroke; currently easystroke can emulate key presses, execute shell commands, hold down modifiers and emulate a scroll wheel. The program was designed with Tablet PCs in mind and can be used effectively even without access to a keyboard. Easystroke tries to provide an intuitive and efficient user interface, while at the same time being highly configurable and offering many advanced features.
I've used this software since in Intrepid release. It make my life a lot easier.
I can maximize, restore, minimize windows, launching nautilus, open terminal, some compiz effect without having to click any button or use any keyboard shortcut. It all done with just a stroke on your touchpad that execute certain actions you have set. To install please enable the universe repository then type in terminal
sudo apt-get install easystroke
It also can be set as per application. From my screenshot below you can see I've set the eog (eye of gnome) to rotate image left and right. You can also change preference from the menu. Now, you will know why I said it make my life a lot easier.
Installing global menu in jaunty is really straight and forward. There's no longer need to create a file to load the GTK module. All you need only to enable the PPA repository and install.
There's no longer dependency problem and can be used directly after install without having the x-server to restart.
This version is stable when compare with I use in Intrepid. The applet no more request for reload. It also not conflicting with user switcher applet. It also comes with simple preference where you can find by right clicking the global menu applet.
The PPA

Yes, it is always very good when it comes to the ever resourceful of open source software. Last time, I thought that pinch zooming is a hardware dependent mostly work on Apple's and some premium and pricey laptop.
But after create some HAL (hardware access layer) files, It's work out of the box for me and maybe you as long as your touchpad can recognize 2 finger tapping. The rotate function is not working only pinch zooming.

Here how the way I get it working with my ubuntu 9.04
First thing you should have this things.
Ubuntu 9.04 (not sure with other release/distro, tested only with ubuntu)
Pre-installed Crossover version 7.10
Microsoft true type fonts (sudo apt-get install ttf-mscorefonts-installer)
Internet connection (to download all dependencies needed by crossover)
1. Run your crossover, then install Internet Explorer 6. It will also download all dependencies needed. This will create a default Windows 98 bottle environment.
2. Then run the Streamster.exe within the bottle (windows 98). Then an error message from streamster installer will appear to ask you to download DSCLIENT.exe to support encryption connection for Windows 98.
3. Quit the installer and download the DSCLIENT.exe.
4. Install the DSCLIENT.exe within windows 98 bottle then continue installing with Streamster.exe.
5. Finish. Then log in to your account and test it.
