The closest thing to the heart of God is helping hurting people think of it like this, if you were off in another city and you got a phone call that your little child was in great need he was in trouble he was hurting, he was lonely, he was afraid, it would make you feel so helpless you are so far away there is nothing you can do about it, it would break your heart but imagine if someone else came along and cared for your child and bandaged those wounds and loved him and calmed him down and made him feel comfortable and secure and at peace you would be eternally grateful to that person you’d do anything in the world for that person they helped your child out of a hopeless, helpless, desperate situation well, that’s how God feels about us when we help the lost hurting and suffering in the world he will reward us greatly God’s heart beats for the lost and hurting of this world.
