Welcome First-Year Students

It is with great pleasure that I take this great opportunity to officially welcome all first year law students on behalf of the Parklands Moot Court Club team and members.Honestly, the importance of mooting for a law student cannot be over-emphasized regardless of the area of legal specialization one wants to hinge to after successful completion of their law degree.
Recently, I have constantly been asked to enumerate the benefits of mooting, well let me put this in black and white hoping that no more questions come choking lol.
One: Mooting is fun-in Parklands (particularly) we have NO pitch or courts to erase library monotony that is why mooting comes in handy as a source of fully loaded entertainment as one presents their argument in a 'realistic' court setting.
Two:Development of research skills
Three: Development of Communication skills
Four: Enhanced Growth in critical thinking
Five: Enhancement of team work and Team building
Having briefly and concisely stated some of the benefits above , I encourage you to join us in shaping our future legal landscape.
