About me

If anything, I'm a major fan of common sense, despite the fact that nowadays it should be listed among endangered species. While I'm rather anti-social, doubly so due to my profession, I'm always willing to find interesting people to talk to. My music tastes make me a staunch metalhead, while modern, radio-friendly music is something I hold in contempt. As far as hobbies go, I was a role player once (and a terrible rules lawyer at that), moving to tabletop wargames fairly quickly (and finding rules development interesting, go figure). I dabble in sculpting as well, but my problems with procrastination

My work

There is not much to be said about my employment, other that for the last eight years, I've been working for "Zarząd Pałacu Kultury i Nauki" Sp. z o. o., currently as Chief Legal Specialist. In other words, I'm an underpaid, yet overburdened troubleshooter, with enough managerial duties to grant me a fancy name, but apparently not enough to qualify for a raise. Yes, I am rather bitter, but who would blame me. Other than that, I've been thinking of turning my on and off wargaming hobby into something a little more productive. Heavens only know what might come out of it, but there have been some interesting developments already.

Why I choose the Opera browser

Between the terrible track record of Internet Explorer, clunkiness of Firefox overloaded with extensions, and overly simplistic way Chrome handles things, Opera has struck me as the most balanced program as far as browsers are concerned. Yes, it still does have its bugs and idiosyncrasies, yes, being tied to my Google account I have little use for its built in mail client (although that might change, perhaps it would be useful for doing backups), and yes, I'd kill for an equivalent of DownThemAll (even though the Links panel is quite awesome), but in my opinion it trumps the rest. And it's blazing fast, even on a wireless modem.
