What I do at night when Jonathan's not at home

94 words
I've been dying to do this for years now. And tonight, thanks to Jean's blog, I found a way to do it. A typing test. I love typing. And Jonathan always makes fun of me for it because I'm more interested in speed than accuracy. It's true. He's right. My typical typing: type type type, delete delete, type type type type type, delete, type type, delete, delete, delete.... you get the picture. But it feels so good to just fly over the keys, doesn't it? I think part of my penchant for typing fast comes from the fact that I took piano for quite a few years growing up. And although I'm not the most amazing pianist in existence now, I'd like to say I trained these little fingers of mine for speed on the keys. Thank you, Mrs. Smith, my 7th grade typing teacher who trained me well. "H H, J J, H H, J J," I can still hear her calling. Try out the test. I dare you. See how fast you are.

Dah! I only got 84 words per minute, which means you continue to best me in all things. (What was your error count, though? Tell me yours and I'll tell you mine.) Can I just mention that I was in the "electric eighties" club in my typing class in 9th grade? Most kids didn't make it out of the "suave sixties" club.

Hi Melanie! I found you blog through Krista Dodd. I hope all is well! How old are your little ones now? I did the typing test and got 91...all those years in admin assisting (and typing in 7th and 8th grade haha) paid off, I guess. Not sure what for but that was fun.

I haven't blogged in quite a while and haven't looked at anyone else's either. I've missed that. Your family is so cute. I love being able to keep up on what's going on with you guys. I absolutely love the dancing elves. I was cracking up. My kids came running and asked for it over and over. Thanks for the entertainment. Merry Christmas.

Ok. I got 94 too. That was an interesting test (just the way it was set up). Anyway, was her name really Mrs. Smith? I thought it started with a "W." Cute Christmas card by the way.
