My OperaFacebook: How to hide the friend list on your profile in 6 steps.

1. Click on "Account" in your Facebook title bar
2. Choose "Privacy settings". Now you see the dialogue "sharing on Facebook".
3. On the bottom, in the middle there is a small link "Customize settings". Click on it.
4. Now you see "Things I share". The third entry is "Relationships". Click in the corresponding pull down menu, choose "Custom".
5. Now you see the dialogue "Custom privacy". Next to "Make this visible to .. these people" select "Only me"
6. Click on "Save setting". You're done!!
Update
This won't hide the friend list to your friends. It just hides it to people that don't have a connection with you.

See my last comment if you want to hide the list to everybody except you.
