Well today I'm feeling a bit better.

We got a call from my husband's surgeon. There's been a cancellation, so he'll be having his surgery tomorrow morning.

We also had the van towed to the mechanic's & it looks like it will be easy to fix - please, God!

We had an open house at our son's school this morning. It went well - and our son will remember both parents being with him on his first day of kindergarten (even though tomorrow is really the first day).
