south africa, crime, news, political
I like East Coast Radio very much, they declared that their website "www.ecr.co.za" is one of the top 50 radio internet websites in the world, i don't know if it's true or what, but i have centainly enjoyed the music and humors it provids for the last two years. the only thing i don't like is the news programmes.
the crimes in South Africa is getting more and more serious now, and it has stolen the news highlights from all the media too. how bad is it? it's weird if you don't hear someone being killed, hijacked or raped from every morning's East Coast News Watch. i truly wish oneday i will no longer hear this kind of news, that will be the best news. no news is good news, God bless South Africa.

I have received an email from a very good friend this morning. One morning you will never wake up, do all your friends know you love them?
I was thinking….I could die today, or next week, and I wondered if I had any wounds needing to be healed, friendships that needed rekindling or three words needing to be said.
Let every one of your friends know that you love them, even if you think that they don’t love you back.
And just in case GOD calls me home before I see you again…..I LOVE YA!!!!!
Live today to the fullest because tomorrow is not promised.

Three years ago I had seen a mediocre movie called "paycheck (Ben Affleck, 2003)", honestly, there was only one line I truly enjoyed from the whole movie. The line was "if you show people their future, they have no future", because the future will end at one point - death. Do you really want to know how you gonna die? Just the idea thinking how I would die in the future has already made me shuddering.
But nobody can live forever, that's the truth, that's life. so when after I read my friend's email, I started to think what would be my last words if I knew I'm dying. I would:
say I love you to my wife and hold her hands.
ask my parents have I made them proud.
say I love you to my future kids and give them a big smile.
say thank you to my friends for just being my friends in my life.
say sorry to God and ask Him to forgive all my sin.
say good bye to all, because I have been here and now I am leaving.

english, chinese, study
I have been to South Africa for 2 years now. Roughly, my life is going up like Johannesburg stock index, but sometimes I do feel that there is someting missing.
Like english for instance, two years ago, I couldn't image myself wroking in an English company and using English as a working language everyday, because when I was young I didn't pay much attentions for English classes, I was too naughty in school. now although I can understand and speak English well, but I am at the end of my wits when it comes to writing. when I need write a formal document or report, what I normally do is that I would compose the document really fast then quickly take it to the girl next to my office to ask her to check it before I send or email it out. for this, from time to time, I have contributed a lot of chocolate to her.
I do not want to do this anymore. so now I force myself to start a blog only use English, I am not worried about people laughing at my mistake any more, I believe there is a break point somewhere, and I am getting there.
