By the way, under which license are they? Have you thought about gnome/KDE/Xfce-look.org? you would be very popular I think ;)

Glad you liked the flags.
When are you going to quit your day job and have you found it hard to start selling stock photos?
Now that I am ready to retire, I was thinking of giving it a try.
I know, I need lots of work but I have nothing but time.

NOC Stock Photography 8. June 2008, 05:31

hi Rick

i'm still not sure when i'm gonna quit my day job, i want to though...but i got my first child coming to earth this month, so really have to play safe here :D

another thing i think stopping me from quitting is that i dont think i have big enough portfolio online yet, i already set a target once my portfolio hits 10,000 i will then definately quit the day job become full time.

in the biginning, yes, i did find it's hard to sell mainly because my portfolio is too small(i had about 100-200 photos online against the total pool of 3,000,000, you do the math :D ), they were selling but not frequently.

at moment i dont feel difficult to sell anymore, at least i know i'm get certain amount of sale daily

it takes a lot of time on photoshop, uploading and keywording when comes to stock photos, but it's all worth it. and the best thing is once i got the photos on my portfolio i dont need to worry ever again, just waiting to be sold :D

if you have the time, i do recommend you giving dreamstime.com a try, it has been pleasant working with them. if you decide to register please click on the banner on my first page to link to dreamstime as it will help me participate their referral programme. thank you.

hope this helps, please feel free to write again,

take care

Michael

Amazing and Beautiful photos you have! I often change my desktop photo according to my mood. Sometimes I like to look at my dogs, scenery, a favorite painting or an interesting design. When I saw your photos of gold, I had to download one with the coins and paper money and will use it as my desktop for a while. It is said if you look at a photo of something long enough and dream about it, you will attain it. Not that I want a lot, but a little more would help during this financial downturn. Nearly 50% of my retirement money is gone.
