The Dangers Of Smoking

Everyone knows that smoking is bad, and can cause many illnesses. I knew that too, and still smoked 2 packs a day for nearly 10 years. And I was sure I'd live forever, and nothing will happen to me.
My wakeup call was when I got pregnant. People told me that I would literally hurt my baby if I smoke, and I began to think they had a point. My husband gave me some articles to read and I was convinced.
But quitting smoking was very hard. It's a struggle, and I still think about smoking from time to time. I know it's hard for many people, but the consequences are much more terrible. I read that by 2030, the annual death toll of smoking related deaths could reach 8 million.
If that doesn't frighten you, maybe you should read the full article: Smoking could kill 8 million a year by 2030
