Lazy Saturday

The Shetland fleece looks like this, pretty uniform yellow stain. The photo looks less yellow than real life. Amazingly, the dye takes well without (as far as I can tell) a yellow undertone so that's great! I like the turquoise (lower left) a lot, I once wanted to paint my house (when I ever get to buy one) turquoise after visiting Costa Rica, but it'd only work in warm climates and I like my winters too much.

Almost spring ;-)

Shetland 양털을 샀는데 원래 흰색이어야 하는데 봉투를 뜯고보니 아마도 털을 깎아내기 전에 이런저런 습기+땀 등등 때문에 화학반응이 일어난 결과인 저 canary stain이라고 부르는 노란색의 털이 나와서 좀 당황했었다. 엄청 싸게 샀으니까, 게다가 나름 부드럽고 별 무리없이 염색이 돼서 다행이다. 씻어서 염색하는 것 외에 별다른 사전 준비없이 쉽게 털실을 만들 수 있을 것 같다.

이번 주말은 정말 날씨가 좋아서, 벌써 봄이 온 것 같다 ;-)
