Lazy Saturday

I'm pretty sure that's what this is, a "diffuse yellow stain that won't wash out" according to the Fourniers from "In Sheep's Clothing". Their only suggestion is to dye and blend the fleece well before spinning, well pretty much the whole fleece is stained so I suppose blending won't be necessary. The yellow is actually quite pretty but I'd rather have it in a different color so I'm going to dye it. Blue seems to take pretty well ;-)

The fleece is actually rather soft despite the stain, I'm not sure if it should've been softer, but for the price I paid, I'm happy with what I got. I tried sampling it by hand, just twisting the wool between my fingers and I think it'll spin up woollen without much preparation.
