Asrai finished!

I finally finished Asrai! It had been sitting on my side table with just the hood and seaming left since before I left for Korea and I finally got around to it on Sunday. It fits great except it's an inch or two short, I'm wondering if that has something to do with subbing wool whereas the pattern was written for a ribbon yarn. I didn't block it so that might have helped. Anyway, I've worn it two days in a row and it's very comfy and warm^^

Asrai from Akashya (Colinette)
(November 3, 2005 - January 8, 2006)
Yarn: substituted almost 5 skeins Peace Fleece in Siberian Midnight
Modifications:
- CO for size 1.5 (36.5" circumference)
- One row of slip stitch crochet around hood edge because the patterning wasn't showing up very well

Well, this is the second sweater in a row to turn out too short. I'd like to try to figure out my measurements for a sweater that'll fit perfectly.

Also, my new spinning wheel came on Thursday! It's awesome and I've spun up my first 2-ply, that's drying in the bathroom at the moment. I'm so excited about not just spinning, but dyeing (just ordered some materials from Prochem) and spinning my own yarn!!!

+ the bunny was looking particularly cute today^^
