I tried blogging a couple of times but was never able to keep it up. So maybe this time it'll stick?
I moved from Seoul, Korea to a really small town in CT a couple of years ago to go to grad school. I started knitting the first winter I got here and have been obsessed since, although I have to admit that I'm prone to crafty obsessions, my last one was with beads.
I knit almost every night after school, but have issues with finishing. I have a really geeky excel sheet of my stash and projects I want to do. I'm seriously considering learning how to spin and I've been eyeing a couple of wheels online. By the time I get around to graduating, maybe I'll be able to make a piece of clothing from beginning to end, who knows.
몇번 블로그 운영해보려고 했었는데 게을러서 꾸준하게 못했었는데, 이번에는 제대로 할 수 있을까. 실은 한국말 너무 안써서 이런 식으로 간단한 글쓰기라도 하는 편이 좋을 거 같아서 해보려고 함.
대학원 다니려고 미국에 2년전에 왔는데, 학교가 역시 상당한 시골에 있어서 심심해서 첫해 겨울 뜨개질을 시작했음. 원래 뭐든지 만드는 걸 좋아해서 시작은 잘하는데, 끝마무리를 잘못해서 거의다 완성해놓고 조금만 더하면 되는데 그걸 놓고 계속 게을러하면서 (이것도 단어인가-_-;;
붙들고 있는 것들이 몇개 있다. 요즘은 양털에서 털실만드는 걸 배워볼까 생각중임. 졸업할때쯤 되면 처음부터 끝까지 (양털에서 털실, 털실에서 옷) 뭐든지 만들수 있지 않을까 싶다, 이게 좋은 거라고 생각하기에는 뭔가 아닌 거 같지만.
