Tuesday, 28. March 2006, 14:46:08
The first Italian library dedicated entirely to design will open in Milan during the Furniture Fair (in via Savona 11, inside the Recapito Milanese).
With interiors designed by James Irvine and Maddalena Casadei, it will hold books, magazines, yearbooks, catalogues, market research and videos, available for consultation and selected for those who work in the field of design, manufacturers, scholars as well as design enthusiasts.
Also available to users of the design library, promoted by design-italia in collaboration with Electrolux, will be the assistance of a team able to supply information and advice on issues linked to specific subjects or areas of research. Finally, for companies a constantly updated database has been created that through the use of personalised research options can be used for selecting targets for marketing operations.
